Thank you for recognizing an exceptional Off-campus Coordinator through the Hilton Mierau Award of Excellence in Off-Campus Education. This award honours one outstanding Off-campus Coordinator each year who demonstrates leadership, innovation, and unwavering commitment to student success through off-campus learning programs.

Provide context about the size of the school, number of students served, and the industries connected to their programming.

2. Knowledge of Industry & Career Pathways

Explain how the nominee demonstrates strong knowledge of the industries connected to off-campus learning.

Consider addressing:

  • Their understanding of labour market trends and in-demand occupations

  • Relationships with industry partners and employers

  • Ability to match students with meaningful, skill-building placements

  • How they help students understand workplace expectations and career progression

Describe how their expertise enhances program quality and student preparedness.

3. Innovation & Advocacy

Provide examples of how the nominee demonstrates innovation in promoting off-campus programs within the school and community.
